NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- FOX NewsChannel (FNC) will unveil a new weekend programming lineup beginning Saturday September 20th, announced FOX News Media president and executive editor Jay Wallace. Outnumbered's Kayleigh McEnany will begin hosting her own program Saturday in America from 10 AM/ET-12 PM/ET on Saturdays, while Griff Jenkins will join FOX & Friends Weekend (Saturdays & Sundays, 6-10 AM/ET) as the third co-host. Beginning Sunday, September 21st, FNC will debut The Sunday Briefing, anchored by senior White House correspondents Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich who will rotate weekly as solo hosts from 11 AM-12 PM/ET, while Howie Kurtz will step down as host of MediaBuzz and transition to a political media analyst role on the network. Additionally, Johnny Joey Jones and Tomi Lahren have been named two of the four co-hosts of The Big Weekend Show as the ensemble program expands to three hours (Saturdays & Sundays, 5-8 PM/ET).

In making the announcement, Wallace said, "As we expand and innovate our weekend programing, we are proud to bring our audience unrivaled depth and expertise. This new dynamic roster underscores our continued commitment to delivering incomparable coverage, reinforcing FOX News Media as the leader in both news and opinion content. For more than a decade, Howie Kurtz has served as the lead authority for media coverage in cable news and we look forward to continuing his smart analysis across our programming."

On Saturday, September 20th, national correspondent Griff Jenkins will join the curvy couch as a co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend, filling the seat alongside Rachel Campos-Duffy and Charlie Hurt. Jenkins joined the network in 2003 and has covered a multitude of major news stories, including the southern border, numerous election cycles, protests across the country and the wars in the Middle East, where he was embedded several times earlier in his tenure as an enterprise reporter. The FOX & Friends franchise continues to crush the competition with the weekend edition averaging 1.2 million viewers.

Featuring conversations with newsmakers across the political landscape, Saturday in America with Kayleigh McEnany will provide a comprehensive look at the headlines dominating the news cycle. She will remain a co-host on the weekday hit ensemble program Outnumbered at 12 PM/ET, which averages nearly 2 million viewers and occasionally outpaces The View on ABC. McEnany joined FNC as a commentator in March 2021 and previously served as the White House press secretary during President Donald Trump's first administration. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and earned an undergraduate degree in international relations from Georgetown University and studied at Oxford University, St Edmund Hall

The Sunday Briefing will debut on Sunday, September 21st at 11 AM/ET with senior White House correspondents Jacqui Heinrich and Peter Doocy anchoring the one-hour show alternating weeks live from Washington. Each anchor will tackle all facets of the White House beat, including the President of the United States' national and international moves as well as the key issues impacting the administration. Heinrich and Doocy have covered the White House since 2021, reporting extensively on both the Biden and Trump administrations and consistently asking questions that drive the news cycle.

Since joining the network in 2009, Doocy has covered every major election, including serving as an embedded political reporter during the 2020 Biden presidential campaign. He became a White House correspondent in 2021 and was elevated to senior White House correspondent in 2024. Heinrich joined the network in 2018 and reported from the 2020 campaign trail, covering the presidential race. In 2021, she was named a Congressional correspondent before being elevated to White House correspondent later that year and named senior White House correspondent in 2024. She is on the board of the White House Correspondents Association and was elected to an at-large seat in which she will serve as president for the 2027-2028 term.

MediaBuzz with Howie Kurtz will air its final show on Sunday, September 14th after 12 years in the 11 AM-12 PM/ET timeslot where it easily led the cable news competition. Kurtz will serve as a political media analyst and continue to provide his signature media commentary and reporting across all FOX News Media platforms which includes hosting the Media BuzzMeter podcast and writing for FOX News Digital.

In commenting on the move, Kurtz said, "I'm extraordinarily proud of the program, which was number one for over 12 years and built a loyal audience that liked our down-the-middle approach of contrasting viewpoints and tackling sensitive subjects, with great independence, but time marches on."

Both Jones and Lahren will take on new roles as two of the four co-hosts of the weekend panel program The Big Weekend Show as the show expands to three hours (5-8 PM/ET) on Saturdays & Sundays. Joined by two rotating panelists each week, Jones and Lahren will delve into a variety of hot topics, from politics to pop culture. Currently, the program leads all competition throughout the weekend with over 1.2 million viewers dominating the early evening timeslot. Jones is a FOX News contributor whose FOX News Books titles, "The Unbroken Bonds of Battle" and, more recently, "Behind the Badge" were instant New York Times bestsellers. A combat veteran, he recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of his Alive Day with a FOX Nation special, commemorating the day he was injured by an IED in Afghanistan, which resulted in the loss of his legs and part of his arm. Lahren is the host of Outkick's Tomi Lahren is Fearless and has hosted live event programming and specials for FOX Nation. She has been an FNC contributor since 2017 and regularly appears on the network's top-rated programs from Hannity to Outnumbered.
